CALL TO WORSHIP
Come, let us worship God, who has called us to be holy people, and has established an everlasting covenant through Jesus Christ our Lord.
We come in spirit and in truth.
Let us adore the God of love: who created us; who continually preserves and sustains us; who has loved us with an everlasting love and given us the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ.
We praise you, O God, we acclaim you as Lord.
Let us glory in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ: though He was rich, yet for our sakes He became poor; He was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin; He went about doing good and preaching the gospel of the kingdom; He became obedient to death, death on the cross; He was dead and is alive for evermore; He has opened the kingdom of heaven to all believers; He is seated at God’s right hand in glory; He will come again to be our judge.
You are the king of glory, O Christ.
Let us rejoice in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life; whose witness confirms us; whose wisdom teaches us; whose power enables us. By the Spirit we are born into the family of God and made members of Christ’s body.
All praise to you, O Holy Spirit.
HYMN: 225 “My Heart and Voice I Raise”
COLLECT
Almighty God, You have appointed our Lord Jesus Christ as mediator of a New Covenant. Give us grace to draw near with full assurance of faith, and rejoice in our continuing covenant with You; through Jesus Christ Your Son and our Lord. Amen!

PRAYER OF CONFESSION
In penitence and faith, and in a period of silence, let us confess our sins to Almighty God. Let us pray. (Silence)
We acknowledge before God the Lord the wretchedness of our world and the sins of our hearts and minds. Our times are full of evil and we are but children of our times. We have seen the light and we are still in darkness.
We have seen the truth and we are half-hearted. We are disciples, but poor disciples, unable to give sight to our neighbour who is blind to where blessing lies. We confess all these things with shame and pray God forgive and redeem. Amen!
PRAYER OF FORGIVENESS
O Lord, who hast mercy upon all, take away from me my sins, and mercifully kindle in me the fire of Your Holy Spirit.
Take away from me the heart of stone, and give me a heart of flesh, a heart to love and adore You, a heart to delight in You, to follow and to enjoy You, for Christ’s sake. Amen! Ambrose of Milan (339-33-97)

HYMN: 650 “Brother, Sister, Let Me Serve You”
COMMUNION
At the heart of the Christian life is active trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and His sacrificial death for sin.
In this symbolic meal, originated from Jesus’ Last Supper with His disciples, we express and strengthen our trust in Him, as we eat and drink with our brothers and sisters in Christ.
Come then with heartfelt repentance and genuine trust in the Lord Jesus, recognising the significance of sharing in this way.
PRAYER
We do not presume to come to Your table, merciful Lord, trusting in our righteousness, but in Your boundless goodness and mercy. We are not even worthy to eat the crumbs under Your table, but You are the same Lord, always rich in mercy. Enable us by faith to eat the flesh of Your dear Son Jesus Christ, and to drink His blood, that we may be cleansed from sin and forever dwell in Him, and He in us. Amen!
THANKSGIVING
You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honour and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created. Therefore, with all those gathered around Your throne in heaven, we lift our voices to praise You.
We praise You especially for Your Son, our Saviour Jesus Christ, who by His death on the cross and rising to new life offered the one true sacrifice for sin and obtained an eternal deliverance for His people.
We thank You for these gifts of bread and wine, and pray that we who eat and drink them, in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, believing our Saviour’s word, may be partakers of His body and blood.
Come let us eat and drink in remembrance that Christ died for us, and feed on Him in our hearts by faith with thanksgiving.
BREAKING THE BREAD & PRAYER
We break this bread and take this cup so that we can share in the life of Christ. God’s gifts for God’s people.
COMMUNION
Take, eat, remember and believe that the body of our Lord Jesus Christ was given for a complete remission of all our sins.
Take, drink, remember and believe that the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ was shed for a complete remission of all our sins.
HYMN: 530 “Now Let Us from this Table Rise”
BLESSING
