CALL TO WORSHIP
Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done marvellous things; His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music; make music to the Lord with harp, with harp and the sound of singing, with trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn – shout for joy before the Lord, the King. Psalm 98:1, 4-6
HYMN: 111 “Praise to the Lord, the Almighty, the King of Creation”
GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST
Glory to God in the highest, and peace to God’s people on earth.
Lord God, heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship You, we give You thanks, we praise You for Your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, You take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us; You are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer. For You alone are the Holy One, You alone are Lord, You alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father.
HYMN: “Great is the Lord”
PRAYER OF ADORATION
Ever-living God, You are infinite, yet compassionate; in You we live, and move, and have our being. One with us in Jesus Christ, You share our life and our death; flowing through us as living water, You quench our thirst. Holy One, we adore You; Holy Wisdom, we adore You; Holy Spirit, we adore You; accept the praise we bring today and for ever. Amen!
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
God of mercy and grace, we confess that when temptation has come our way, we have often failed to meet its challenge. We have strayed from what we know to be right. We have taken the easy way instead of the way that leads to life. We have sought our security in mere possessions, status, and wealth instead of placing our trust in You. Forgive us. Amen!
WORDS OF ASSURANCE
God does not treat us as our sins deserve or repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His love for those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.

THE INVITATION
Dear friends, the Lord has prepared His table for all who love Him and trust Him alone for their salvation. All who are truly sorry for their sins, who sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as their Saviour, and who desire to live in obedience to Him, are now invited to take with gladness from the table of the lord.
WORDS OF CONSECRATION
On the night of His betrayal, Jesus took bread, and when He had given thanks, He broke it and gave it to His disciples, saying, “Take, eat, this is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me”. In like manner, after supper He took the cup. And when He had given thanks,
He gave it to them, saying, “Drink of this, for this is My blood of the New Covenant, which is shed for you and for many, for remission of sins; do this as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me”.
MEMORIAL PRAYER
Holy God, with this bread and with this cup, we do as our Saviour has commanded; we celebrate the redemption He has won for us.
For as often as we eat this bread and drink from this cup, we proclaim the Lord’s death until He comes.
Receive our praise, God almighty, through Jesus Christ our Lord, with whom and in whom by the power of the Holy Spirit, we worship You in songs of never-ending praise:
Blessing, honour, glory and power are Yours forever and ever. Amen!
THE LORD’S PRAYER
BREAKING THE BREAD & SERVING THE BREAD & THE CUP
We break this bread and take this cup so that we can share in the life of Christ. God’s gifts for God’s people. Take in faith this Holy Sacrament of the body and the blood of Christ in remembrance that He died for you, and feed on Him in your hearts with thanksgiving.
DISMISSAL
We thank You our God that You have fed us with this sacrament, united us with Christ, and given us a foretaste of the heavenly banquet prepared for all humanity.
Loving God, we offer ourselves to You as a living sacrifice through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Send us out in the power of the Holy Spirit to live and work to Your praise and glory. Amen.
