CALL TO WORSHIP
Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him. Praise the Lord. With the harp; make music to Him on the ten-stringed lyre. Sing to Him a new song; play skilfully, and shout for joy. (Psalm 33:1-3)
HYMN: 134 “Praise, My Soul, the King of Heaven”
PSALTER READING (in Unison) Psalm 121 Page 612
PRAYER OF CONFESSION
O Lord, You who have measured the heights and the earth in the hollow of Your hand, and created six-wing seraphim to cry out to You with an unceasing voice, Holy, Holy, Holy, glory to Your name.
Deliver me, from the mouth of the evil one, O Master. Forget my many evil deeds and through the multitude of Your compassions grant me daily forgiveness, for You are blessed unto the ages. Amen!
ASSURANCE OF FORGIVENESS
The good news in Christ is that when we face ourselves and God with the awareness of our need, we are given grace to grow, and courage to carry on the journey. Friends, believe the good news of the gospel.
HYMN: 76 “I to the Hills Will Lift My Eyes”
PRAYER ON LENTEN SEASON
Dear God and our Heavenly Father, this morning we express our thanks for Your love, providence and redemption given freely to us through the death and resurrection of Your only Son, our Saviour and Lord. We ask You, O God, that You make this solemn Lenten Season a vital period of spiritual and moral development. We pray that our hearts, souls and minds, along with those of multitudes, may in these weeks experience the blessing of true penitence, confession, restitution, and joy of salvation in Christ. Deliver us, good Lord, from the deadly sins of the soul; from pride and wrath; from envy and avarice; from lust and sloth; from lying and slander; from hurting and causing sadness; from dishonesty and unfaithfulness; from cruelty and injustice. Deliver us from impenitence and rebellion against Your will; from indifference to spiritual things and disobedience to the heavenly vision; from false ambitions and unholy desires. Amen! (Rev. Dr. Vahan Tootikian)
SONG – “Lord, I Lift Your Name on High”
PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE
Father, we pray for the holy catholic Church;
that we all may be one.
Grant that every member of the Church may truly and humbly serve You;
that Your name may be glorified by all people.
We pray for all ministers of the gospel;
that they may faithfully proclaim Your Word and administer Your holy sacraments.
We pray for all who govern and hold authority in the nations of the world;
that there may be justice and peace on the earth.
Give us grace to do Your will in all that we undertake;
that our works may find favour in Your sight.
Have compassion on those who suffer from any grief or trouble;
that they may be delivered from their distress.
We praise You for Your saints who have entered into joy;
may we also come to share in Your heavenly kingdom.
Let us pray for our community, for the life and worship of this congregation, and for those whose needs are known to us.
Almighty God, You have given us grace at this time with one accord to make our common supplications to You; and You have promised, through Your well-beloved Son, that when two or three are gathered together in His name You will be in the midst of them.
Fulfil now, O Lord, our desires and petitions as may be best for us; granting us in this world knowledge of Your truth, and in the age to come life everlasting. Amen!

Dear friends, the Lord has prepared His table for all who love Him and trust Him alone for their salvation. All who are truly sorry for their sins, who sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as their Saviour, and who desire to live in obedience to Him, are now invited to take with gladness from the table of the Lord.
PRAYER
Father, we thank You that You feed us in these holy mysteries with the spiritual food of the body and blood of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
We thank You for the assurance of your goodness and love, and that we are living members of his body and heirs of his eternal kingdom.
May the Holy Spirit be upon us now, that as we receive this bread and wine, we may know the presence and power of Christ our Lord. Amen!
BREAKING THE BREAD
We break this bread and take this cup so that we can share in the life of Christ. God’s gifts for God’s people.
COMMUNION
Take, eat, remember and believe that the body of our Lord Jesus Christ was given for a complete remission of all our sins.
Take, drink, remember and believe that the precious blood of our Lord Jesus Christ was shed for a complete remission of all our sins.
PRAYER
Most gracious God, You have made us one with all Your people in heaven and on earth. You have fed us with the bread of life and renewed us for Your service. Now we give ourselves to you and ask that our daily living may be part of the life of Your kingdom. May our love be Your love, reaching out into the life of the world; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen!
